I was just cruisin and a trooper pulled me over told me that he clocked me doing 70 in a 55, I was only doing about 60 and he knew it cause i told him that there was no way that I was doing that cause I knew for a fact I was doing 60. I had a talk with a bud of mine that works on that stretch at a cycle shop, he said that they had busted him so much that one more and he will loose his licsence. Hed run but they know him by name. He said he couldnt beleive that he didnt give me a ticket, said they never let anybody off. I told him that im not some punk kid and he knew he was blowing smoke," any way" and he knew it. I think that he saw one of my famous 1/2 mile 2nd gear wingers and couldnt get to me and took his chance to find out who I was. Or older is right and he likes my ass :D

I just bought a VTX1800. Trust me you won't cruise on this bike. It's obviously not a sportbike, but this bike ain't no sloutch either. I thought I'd just cruise on this bike, but every time I ride, I hammer it. The Vance and Hines Big Shots I just installed isn't helping matters. :twisted:

some of us who are working hard to afford our bikes, as well as insurance for the same, are not readily able to pay for a lot of tickets. also- while i understand that running from cops is a particularly viable option in canada, where the 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix is still the pursuit vehicle of choice, some places in our great nation use "helicopters"; there's a shitload of them out here, and my buddy got nailed coming home from reno one night doing about 155.

push the horn button once and it beeps (of course) but with the 1st beep the brake lights go out, the second beep all lights go out and the third beep puts it all back to normal...

have anyone here ever tried to play cat and mouse with someone at night that has no brake lights?... it's almost impossible...

i do submarine runs all the time, you actually get less driver stupidity when you are flying totally dark cause they dont react to your lights, people are like fuckin moths jerking all over either towards or away from you when you got your lights on

yeah for the time being, ill have it all wired on a switch soon enough just a 3 way for all except brakes, normal, and submarine styln

The horn trick sounds cool. I wouldn't want it wired through my horn though. Sometimes around here at night there's fucking deer everywhere and I use my horn alot to let 'em know somethings coming.
It's either that or slow down to about 10mph. Deer are a real pain in the ass. Could you do the same thing and add another switch just for the light trick???? If you can, show us the directions for this little mod!!!!

I wonder if those deer horn things they were selling work, They are small and non obtrusive, if they worked they supposively put out a sound only animals hear to warn them of youre comming :idea:
