I Have A 04' 1000rr And I Don't Like The Electric Steering Damper. My 929 Had A Gpr. Is There Anybody Out There That Has Changed Theirs Over Yet And If So How Does It Work And Look.
My Second Question Is What Are The Best Air Filters For This Bike. I Heard The K&n's Were Not That Great.
Right Now I Have Power Commander And Full Tit. Arata Exhaust.
Thanks For Any Feed Back.

Well im running with the Full Ti. Akrapovic and PC3usb set up with a BMC filter and its treating me good on my '06 1KRR. As for the damper, im not a track person so its really never botherd' me much. Also i'm one that thinks that all bikes are NOT made equally and that different filters may work better for different bikes.(just my 2 cents)

I have a GPR steering damper...love it. Much better than the stock damper... Plus you can change the fork oil in it....

I have GPR and it started leaking within a week, so had to send it in for repairs. Ohlins makes a rotary style dampening with high and low speed settings. Just something else to consider. I have BMC, but can't honest tell I noticed a difference. I installed the 06 airbox stacks and noticed a big diference in the midrange and a custom map smooth everything out.

I've got the BMCs, but also installed the Atech and HRC throttle at the same time... not sure which provided more... but hot damn!!
