All right heres the problem,

Bought a used 2003 954 in excellent shape.
Sat in garage for a while, would jump it from my car to get it started only.
Did this about 4 or 5 times.
The last time i tried it nothing happened no power whatsoever.
I figured it was the battery so i went out and bought a new one hooked it up today and still nothing no power at all.
Im wondering if something else got burnt out from jumping it with car.
Checked the fuses but they all look good.
Can anybody help?

I think that there is some in line fuses under the tail that you cant see without taking off the tail. Check with Gnt he might know. If youre getting no power when you turn the key on, its either a fuse or a bad switch. I would bank on a fuse, switches rarely go bad. :?

i had this same problem i blew a fuse there are some seperate fuses look more carefully, if thats not it its the starter motor or wiring

No Power = main fuse 90% of the time. Did ytou get the wrong battery and reverse the polarity? Some times when batteries get really old or are really dead they can actually switch polarity. I have never seen it on a bike but if you ever left bateries in a walkman or something for a long time and they wont work with new batedries thats what happened.

main fuse .should be next to the batt,I dont remember i havent touched a 954 in a while.the fuse is green and and its covered with a red cap..looks like a plug or something but the main fuse is under it..
