Ok, Ok, Let me start by telling everyone on this site that you are the FIRST people to hear my public announcement that after 14 HAPPY , Liter Bike FREE years of CBR's that included an: F2, F3, F4i, AND RR ALL 600'S!!!, I am about to go to the DARK SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, although i hate myself for admiting it, as soon as all of you Fireblade experts answer just a few quick ?'s I will be purchasing my very FIRST
(god it hurts to say it....) LITRE BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Time to 'man up' with the big dogs, right?

No in all seriousness, i am a life long Honda die hard, LOVE the look of the 954 since DAY 1 and found one that I just CAN"T REFUSE!!!

BUT:
PLEASE HELP ME WITH A FEW ?'s.
1. Any "common" issues with these bad ass machines i should look for?
2. After a quick run through and test ride,
found the oil overfilled, and a slight "ticking" from the (what seems) left upper engine area. seems engine speed consistent, and there even at optimal engine temp. Again, just test ride, so didn't get too deep into it.
Also, seller "claims" miles are original at 6789.....
I also am the bike club "mechanic" lol, and with many years of My own Hondas, etc, and buying at least 8 bikes over the years, although it sounds n'aive, from what i saw on the bike, and general mechanical tightness, it seems feasible.....I dunno......

I totally APPRECIATE all input, no matter what you can throw at me,
I am hoping by this time tomorrow I am a proud "father" of my own Fireblade....
