Designed with the input from MotoGP and WSBK Racers, Alpinestars GP Pro Gloves are the choice of everyone here in the RidersDiscount Fortress. Made with internal Kevlar stitching and pre-curved fingers for comfort, Brian, Kent and Taylor have all crash-tested these motorcycle gloves to good effect over the last two seasons. Alpinestars’ trademark third and fourth finger bridge not only prevents finger roll, but also adds an extra layer of leather to the side of your hand that’s probably going to slide on the pavement should the ride go horribly wrong.

An injection-molded gauntlet is designed to absorb impact energy and protect the wrist in the event of a fall. Of course, the glove is very comfortable and has air intakes on the knuckles and perforations between the fingers to keep your hands a little cooler.

Available in red, black, grey or blue, call Mike at 866.931.6644 ext 804 to get a set of these gloves shipped your way. You can also email him with your questions– FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM is the address and be sure to include the size and color you prefer.

One of our riders had the unfortunate experience of crash testing a pair of Alpinestars GP Pro gloves and we’re happy to report that they held up well. What you see below are the results of a high side coming out of the keyhole at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Most of the damage occurred on the right hand glove as the rider used this hand to right himself.

The pair of leather flaps seen here on this new pair did their job perfectly to prevent the wrist strap from failing and the glove falling off the rider’s hand.

A closer look at the right hand glove reveals that nothing would have prevented it from being used again. Our rider reported no injuries and, after the bike was repaired, continued riding with no issues.
