Gilles TECA-GT chain adjuster blocks are a direct replacement for your bike’s mass-produced units. These chain adjuster blocks eliminate the slop associated with many OEM chain blocks that makes getting the correct chain tension after a wheel change difficult. With the Gilles adjuster blocks installed on your bike, you can expect chain tension to remain nearly constant as you tighten up the axle bolt after a wheel change. Don’t trust the OEM axle position marks either - the TECA-GT chain adjuster blockes make compensating for your bike’s often incorrect alignment marks easy with a simple worm gear adjustment tab.

To adjust chain tension, slightly loosen your bike’s axle, and adjust both Gilles blocks until you get the tension you want. Gilles also makes swingarm lifters and axle sliders that bolt directly onto the TECA-GT for extra utility. The TECA-GT adjuster blocks are an updated design that draws upon the experience of the original Gilles chain adjusters for greater strength and ease of use.
