Ben Bostrom is fastest thus far in early testing at Daytona, with the Honda rider clocking a practice time of 1:49.23 before the lunch break on Sunday. Bostrom is said to have been slightly quicker than teammate Jake Zemke, also in the 1:49 range.

I predict Eric will still win because the twins are easier on tires on the banking. Just look at last years results. The Gixxers were nowhere to be found.

Speaking of Daytona, I heard that during the tire tests alot of the new litre bikes were destroying the tires on that track. Is this true or did I hear some bull shit...

its true, Di Salvo blew out a tire on the high banking at 170+mph

So is it true that some of the riders are refusing to race thse bike in Daytona because of the tire problems?
