Hi Lads, i hope im posting in the right section. Im having some problems with my 2007 RR5. It developed a few months ago. Now, just so you know, i dont think it has anything to do with it, but i welded a hole in the (micron) end can (with the batt disconected) on the bike before this problem developed and also changed the gearing down 1 on front and up 2 on rear. As i said, i dont think that has anything to do with the problem....anyhow, while out on a spin, and reaching stupid speeds (170+mph) the bike developed what can only be described as an instant stutter....as in, when rolling on the power and reaching higher rev ranges in 6 gear only by the way, the bike just stutters for a second, its almost as if the engine cuts out for a split second. Now, it started to happen consistant at that speed and in 6th only, but has come down over time, as in has now over time come from happening at 170mph+ to 120 mph, but still only in 6th. The bike now has 16000 miles on it so its prob over due a plug change, which may have something to do with it, who do ye reckon, any ideas lads??

Any help greatly appreciated, oh and the wires for the exhaust valve are disconected since the can was put on, but its been on for 3 years now without any issues, thanks lads:coolgleamA:
