So riding down the highway I got a sudden loss of all power. It will shift through all gears, idle, and rev just fine. Big problem though the bike wont move an inch. You can hear/feel the gears changing as the bike runs like a champ through the rpm range. Could the clutch have gone to the dump all at one time? I still feel pressure in the clutch line... so Im really thinking my clutch is gone. If so how far should I go replacing pieces like clutch as well as... or just the clutch or not even the clutch at all? sorry mechanically inclined just not on motocycles so much

I'm not a doctor and this is my first post.
In a car that usually means your flywheel broke. Which also means that your clutch is gone too. I'm assuming that it'd be the same on a bike.
Normally i'd say to check the tranny fluid.. but from looking at the outside of my bike I'm assuming that the motor uses engine oil to lubricate the gears and clutch, since it also appears to be a wet clutch.
I could be wrong though, I'm only starting to learn bikes.

It's your clutch. If you dont kknow much about it, take it to your dealer.
A guy over on 1000rr.net dropped his clutch on his 06 Repsol with only 5k miles.
Bike shifts, but when he gets on it, rpms climb and bike does not move.
Best of Luck!
