After 24k of beatings and Stand-ups, I developed a creaking noise coming from the right driver's foot peg. I tightened the mount bolt, but the shifter became sticky. I loosened the bolt a little, and the creak stayed away, and the shifter returned to normal.
I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with a broken foot peg/ rearset? I have heard of a few R-1's breaking the foot peg off during a stand up.

Take it all apart and clean all the joints really well and lube it up and put it back together and the creeking will go away.

Damn, I HATE cleaning this damn thing. I just cleaned it after not washing it for 6 months. :x I'll give it a try, and I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanx 2K
