CBR1000RR wins in the midrange, ZX-10R wins on top.

It's a windows media file.

Basically what happens is this:

They both launch but ZX-10R gets the jump due to well known clutch issues on the CBR. CBR catches and passes it in the midrange. At the very end in the top end the ZX-10R goes by and pulls a few bike lengths.

It's not launch friendly. That's what I meant.

that was a joke..
if you right click on it and "save target as" it will load up to your pc..
these are 2 guys at a light and neither one of them knew what they were doing..
the 1000rr did not pull on him in the mid range!! there was a slight curve in the road and he the zx-10 didnt have the balls to hold so he let off!! he might not have the balls to hold hit threw the curve but he held it on the staight..and from the camra view mounted on the helmet of the guy riding the 1000rr he wasnt tucked tight as you see the zx10 go by hes way in under the windscreen..not saying the 1000rr faster, just saying the video is crap..the zx10 went by the 1000rr like he was standing still..
more worthless crap from Turbo

I think that when they filmed it, the ZX-10R had a full arrow exhaust and the CBR1000RR was still completely stock. I could be wrong. The vid wasn't that bad. It's not in Stuna's league ( Nobody is. ) but at least they are out enjoying their rides.

Hey turbo where did you go you abandoned your sponsor post??????

I didn't abandon it. I'm just not going to post anything more until I have proof. Nobody on this board proves jack-shit but everyone expects me to back everything I say. So if it has to be that way, it's all good. I'll post the photos when they are ready sometime in August.

I'd rather forget this whole accident ordeal. Maybe I'll get a couple shots of it before I put the bodywork back on. The frame is already being straightened. I have the old wrecked parts like the shifter, front fairing, headlight bulbs, ram air ducts, and other misc. No big deal.

Speaking of which, The ins company is dropping a check for $14,000 next week. I fixed the bike already with $3,000. So I just made $11,000 profit. lol Who's the man. Would you like me to scan the pay stub too? :D

Pictures! Pictures! Post some proof. Last time I asked Turbo to post some after wreck fotos he told me to find a picture of a 999 without the body work  Sounds like someone is hiding something.

you do that and you won't be able to be half the rider you can be.

what is that one quote... :?:
how are you supposed to know where you are going if you don't remember where you are coming from?....... something like that.

I am more than sure there are a plethora of subliminal inuendos in prelude to your crash and also during the midst of it and after that you need to pay attention to to increase your personal awareness on synchronicity...

like why you were going fast enough not to be able to react properly for such a kizmetic encounter? (kizmet= when carma collides)

yeah yeah the kid ran a stop... but you may have sped up for a release a few blocks or so ahead of this and your timing was a bit ahead of fates schedule...
I know you know what I'm saying here Nate.

anyone here seen the movie Magnolia? (slight example of synchronicity)

and on a different note... that video thing is funny :P

if fate is something that is supposed to happen at a certain time, at a certain place, to a certain person, then how could one do something to speed it up?

if it was fate, then no matter what nate,or that kid, had done would make a difference.....something would still happen. and no matter how much you listen to that lil voice, 9 times outta 10, a person will go against it. if only he had slown down at that yellow light a few blocks back.....if only he had not been going 10mph over the speed limit.....if only he had not been a dumbass and spent too damn much on a pig of a machine :P you can't live on "what if's".....if we did, this board would be a whole lot smaller. the best we can do is accept what fate throws at us and hope for the best....like the good things ($$$$$$$) that are coming to you, nate. enjoy the dough, but fate and life has a way of getting even, so don't boast too damn much bro, or like GNT says "YOU'LL FUCK UP YOUR KARMA" :D :D

I knew I was going to open up a barrel of goodies with all that. ;)

I was mainly focusing on synchronicity.
I have seen it at work as all have seen it too or have just been part of it blindly.
nature has a funny way of showing you that with times when you are getting stupid in the wrong areas just 'because' and you come around a corner and a cop is sitting there... or you fly over a hill and a tractor is pulling out and if you aren't going too fast for your realm you are able to pull out of such things... turbo wasn't able to and paying attention to what led up to that point makes it more understandable for the next if there is a next...
ex:
If I come across even one close call with an animal, stop light, hot entrance into a corner, or what have you that is enough to tell me to settle down and find the groove again. Not make the groove because then you'd be going at the groove instead of in the groove with force instead of grace.
driving with even a mild ego will have you rush into situations that weren't meant for you until you made them so.
most of the time there is a huge ass fricken window of error and other times there isn't.
uhhh close calls from riding over your head is another way of putting it.

wow.... at least I wasn't starting a thread up like the guy did back at 954rr.com with asking you all to accept jesus as you personal saviors due to the extreme sport we commit ourselves to. :P hahaha :P :P :P

and again... that video was funny :P your budy needs to remount his cam correctly there turbo... and both them need some practice at going at it... where was the steady throttle hold upon take off. all I was hearing was revving. ;)

I'm not going to get involved in this boards nit picky little bullshit that's all off topic anyway. From what I've seen is this. The ZX-10 fuckin ROCKS in the motor dept. In a drag race, riders equal, it's gonna smoke your ASS. But it's got more issues than the CBR does. In a long twisty race, the CBR is tough to beat. In longevity, it's hard to say now, but I bet the CBR will be tough to beat. In gains off the easy mods, the CBR will be tough to beat. Overall, the ZX-10 has got a fuckin motor. In the end? After a year or two on board? The CBR will be tough to beat. It's not just a drag queen.
