sweet. that pipe looks pretty tits on the 1kRR 8)
you ever ride out on 12 east into LaGrange and head north on H. ? that road is pretty damned awesome along with some more in those south Kettles that are fricken cool as hell.....
You are about 1.8 hrs. away from me in Port and that means nothing to me. I ride the north kettles, holy hill, and the south kettles in a day if it's a good one.:D
Last time I rode 12 into Whitewater there was a group of like 60 or 70 sportbikes headed out to the s.kettles, a load of locals and college goers going on the last scoot of the term before summer break.

where abouts do you ride?

How did you just shave the bottom of the license tag? Nice bike! I just purchased a jardine carbon fiber pipe for my bike. And I haven't put together a plan yet to attack putting the aftermarket pipe on. Did you have to get your bike re-mapped after the pipe was put on?

nice tail, just broke through the 200 miles mark myself.

is there an easy way to take the license plate/light unit off without cutting the blinker wires?

thanks

First I removed the lp light completely. Cut the wires and sealed the ends.

Then I used a hacksaw blade to cut at the right angle below the turn signals and at the bottom of the flat that the license plate light used to be on.

Then I drilled pilot holes through the plate and the plastic to put self tapping screws through to mount the plate.

Thats it. Zero Investment but time.

I agree, they are hideous.

I may just remove them completely, but I think it looks unfinished that way. Maybe I will just cut these down

You mentioned somewhere about maybe stickin some on from the 54. Have you tried that? Do the 1000RR's come with the cheesy ass rubber pegs like the 54, or did they finally put on some decent pegs with teeth? The 600RR has decent stock pegs. Not the best, but decent. Are you going to leave'em stock or get a nice pair a sets?

Nice pegs with teeth, I just want to get a set of the smaller feelers if they will work
