I have an 03 954 and I have run 2 04 Models, the SUZ and the KAW.

They are beating me by about 2 links in the quarter., how does an 04 CBR do against the 04 models?

It is obvious you are a OWNER of a GSXR1000 and I am sure it is fast.
My 954 will run within 2-3 bike lengths of a SUZ any day.
You know that whole bike (954) is my absolute favorite Honda to date, its about the most complete package Honda ever put out.
And she is fast as hell.
And she will be running down the road 10 years from now.
Will your SUZ make it 10 years?
Suz always been fast but short-lived, they like to eat trannies and snack on overhauls. :D

I agree that Suzukis dont seem to hold together as well as Hondas..... They feel like there are bolts crucnhing around on the transmissions on the ones I have ridden.....

I must say that I am really curious what they will do with the G1K in 2005..... I guess we will have to wait and see......

I just sold my 954, so I know what fast is. 4 mph advantage in the 1/8th mile is more than 2 bike lengths. Maybe you have a faster 954 than mine or others. weeeeeee

That CBR you say is so slow is probly due to lack of skill, takes a real rider to ride a 954, now for you SUZ I would say it is so fast cause there is such a minute amount of mass riding on it:)

In Wheelies defence you are a litle new here to be telling a long term member to get lost........... Wheelie has put in his dues here, he is a former 954 owner and has contributed a great deal to the old 954rr forums and our new 1000rr forums so he will always welcome here even if he does ride an inferior bike......

is said nothing about 7.05@ 110 on my 1000. i said 7.00@110 on my 929. i said 6.72 @114 on my 1000. no exhaust,pc3. just one tooth up in the rear.

now on the other hand, have you heard of lees performance? hes out of charlotte. he runs the local track all the time. check this out. gsxr 600 frame, busa engine bored out to 1500+, with juice. running 5.14's all day long. now THAT is a fast gixxer.

yeah I did a 10.8 last week..... 954 only has a slip on micron- which adds sound nothing else. Bike is NOT strapped or dropped and the suspension is set up for the twisties. With it this way I cannot pin the throttle in first without it coming up too high.

I was running against my friends R1, 2000 model, and it was all about clutch, whoever got the better launch would win with the time.

I only saw Hayabusas running there and they were stretched/straped and dropped running nitrous in third gear.
