I got rearended by an SUV while turning into my driveway yesterday. My 954 is probably totalled and I am in a great deal of pain. Thank God for helmets, mine has a pretty good smash on the front of it- that would have been my face without it.

I had an accident last August that cost me a broken collar bone and three broken ribs. I don't believe that I have anything broken this time, but I'm going to see a doctor this morning to make sure everything is where it should be.

I was coming home from work so I was only dressed in jeans and a tee shirt. I'm sure that I would have made out better with protective gear on.

dang bro  did the police get invloved I hope? being rear-ended on a bike while entering your own drive is just totaly unacceptable. you may be able to make out on this one if you get a lawyer.

That's really terrible man. In your driveway? GEEEEEZUZ!!! I'm glad you had on your helmet!

I have heard and I now believe that most all accidents occur within a half amile from home. Let's all think about that the next time we run to the store without our armor on.

Good heads up. I hope that maybe you continue riding. I am not currently riding due to an accident. But I am trying hard to work through it. I just don't want that asshole to end something I have loved my entire life. But it is hard.
