Please. :D cbrjimmy1KRR 08-18-2004, 07:48 AM Yea yea yea, tell me the pros and cons of each bike in your oppinion :wink: the main pro to the 954 over the 1000 was that i was just plain used to it. i put well over 25,000 miles on the 54 and the 1K rides completely different, to me. i really notice the pegs higher and bars lower, but it's not uncomfortable. the 1000 runs a bit hotter temp wise, but some water wetter or engine ice is going in soon, so maybe that'll help. the power is awesome....she pulls like a bitch. not a whole lot over the 54, but the 1K is bone stock and the 54 had a PC3r and a full Hindle. when i get the full Akra race we'll see how much better it is :wink: the 1K isn't near as wheelie prone as the 54, but it will sure do it and do it well. you can stay in the gas longer and harder and not worry about getting skyward. other than that, it's hard to compare....i love em both, but the 1000RR is sooooooo smooth, smoother than the 54 fo sho.
