Im going to San Antonio next month for 7 weeks, does anyone know of any good riding out there...Ive heard a few places west have some good riding...any help or suggestions would be great!

get on hwy 16 (bandera Rd.)and go north into kerrville.You can get to 16 from the 1604 outer loop on the north-west side of S.A.
after bandera it friggen Awesome! from S.A. it's about an hour there and you won't be disappointed. :D
no joke. about 20mi before Kerrville it's like canyon carving with 10mph cautions for a few miles and before that is like 15 miles of 25mph cautions. all the pavement has wicked grip and the scenery defines beautiful. I've been there many many times.

ok... back again... here's some advice from a budy on another forum...

I'm somewhat familiar with the area around Kerrville. Here is my suggestion for a route.
Start Kerrville
SH 16 to Medina 25 miles
RR 337 to Vanderpool 20 miles
Continue 337 to Leakey 17 miles Good place for lunch
Continue 337 to Camp Wood 22 miles no gas next 75 miles @ Leakey
North 55/335 to 41
East on 41 to RR336
South RR336 Leakey Gas up here.
North 83, east 39 to Hunt 48 miles
Continue 39 to Kerrville 13 miles
Finish Kerrville, approximately 220 miles.
