Great time at the races this weekedn except Zempke's electrical problem. It sounded like he was running on 3 cylanders the whole race and still got seventh.

I was standing at turn 3 when one of the World SBK guys highsided. He was probably 10 feet in the air. His bike was pretty wadded up. Corser came around 10 seconds later and almost did the same thing. Pretty crazy...

you mentioned you're headed to mid ohio for the race?
I started a thread (http://1000rr.com/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1456) asking if that place was worth riding 8 hrs to to go see for the race....... still might head out near LaCrosse, wi for some mini canyon carving type stuff though :shrug:

we're driving 9 hours to go to it, cage though for all our camping equipment and stuff. we'll be riding to VIR though in september with some other people in a truck with a trailer. might be staying the following monday for keith codes superbike school track day...who knows! :)

However, I am 33 and doubt I could handle the physical demands or racing. Plus if I get off at over 12 miles an hour they are probably just going to shoot me where I lie....

I am starting a new job in Aug and will be travling all over the place for training plus I am getting married Aug 28th. So with the honeymoon and all of the other travling to Seattle I won't be able to make any of the races. I probably won't even be able to watch them on TV :evil:
