What rear tire pressure are you guys running at when doing a lot of wheelies? I was told at the dealership that most of these stunter's drop the pressure way down. Was curious what you thought about it.

I run mine in the low to mid 20s if all I'm doing is stuntin'. I think it also helps to go wide with tire selection and a low side wall (200/50) too. That way your contact patch is wide with moderate tire pressure. Keeps you from getting that flat strip down the middle of the tire. I haven't experimented with a lower pressure than that so I can't really say how it affects the bike. :headbang:

I need to get a 12 bar before I learn those. Winter project. That and a cage. What sprocket set-up do you use for 12's 2K?

Well I dont wheelie my bike just my quad but my teammates are running a down 2 and up 12 configuration right now. If you want a twelve bar let me know and I will get you a discount on one from Racing 905.... Click my signature to check out the products for your 54........ I would also strongly recomend a cage before you start working on the slow stuff because you will crack your case if you dont.....

I dropped my tire pressure from 42 to 38 pounds and now down to 30-31. What a big difference with the wheelies. I just started doing stand up wheelies and I'm surprised how much easier they seem to be. Now I have to learn how to shift while the front wheel is in the air. To bad the weathers getting cold, damn I have to move someplace warm. Ride all year!

learn to hold it at the balance point and you wont have to shift.
