Have you ridden them and what did you think?

I've ridden a ZX-10 but only briefly. It was very very fast. Scared me. I've ridden the R1 and it was just as fast, but seemed like a much better overall machine IMO. And I've ridden the RR. Not alot, but alittle.

I'd buy the RR. R1 would be a distant second. But I like Hondas.

rode the 10r before buying the rr. the 10r definitely have some kicks but the seating position is strange for me (5'10", 175lbs), i felt like i was floating rather than riding the bike. when i sit up straight, i don't see anything, not even the windscreen.

the rr is more stable and the ergonomics is pretty good too.

I rode the zx10 and its fast but its fast upstairs RPM and its suspension is HARD and very unstable to me..rode the new r1 also and it has no torque ubder 8grand its flat
then u get a spike and thats where its fast.then u have the honda which had a penske and forks done by gmd and had a half arrow system and the power was smooth and fast ..but i have to say none of the bikes dont the torrue my 03 1000 has which is what i
what im used to..and my bike has a penske triple, forks done my traxxion and loads of other shit. BUT its seems like i can ride the honda faster and its more comfortable for me..so its llookin like HONDA for me next spring .. :D :D :D

P.S. i heard a rumor, the honda is restricted from the factory...kinda like the gixxer 1000 is and u plug in the tre..to unrestrict it.

anyway to unrestrict the 1000RR..

I made my decision based on the fact that I was able to ride all 4 literbikes and put mileage on em....My cousin owns a 04 R1 my best friend the Zx-10 my other friend a gixxer 1k and finally my other friend a 1000rr. I was impressed with the R1 ....Although the handling is a little heavy feeling....the power is definitely there above 7k.....Heat is a major factor.....the bike gets hot under any condition right through the seat .....Wind protection is non existant.......The Zx-10 is just like an angry dog ....the more you poke at it the meaner it gets......Light nimble and handling is quick but a little nervous.....and who can beat 104 mph in 1st gear???.......Scary....plain and simple....and I owned a hell of a Zx-12 mind you .......The Gixxer is like old shoes ....comfy and just how its suppose to feel and act ....But Old...........The CBR......is most refined out of the bunch in my opinion offerin the best of all the worlds......I wont preach on Honda since we all own one.....I will say this I have been brand loyal since day 1.....(kawasaki)....and wanted the 10....But I went with my mind and not my heart......Best part is now we all have 1 of each and I can swap at any given time.....Its funny ....They always seem to ask me 1st......hehe
