when new and stock mine read 130 mostly
seen as low as 90 with an improperly tuned power commander.

when I put on my full akrapovich evo it went down to 115 at times and that was an extermely unlinear power curve.
then after a custom map I was back up near the 130's again.

once I tried to baby it and get the 145 like I've heard before but that didn't last too long.

Well I dont either, but there are places here that you can ride where you wont see a station for a while. Im just curious cause I figure if someone has run out doin this itll give me a good idea how far I can go if I have to. I have had to do about 24 miles so I guess that I was close.

 I generally get to around 148 before the light comes on depending who im riding with :!:

When im riding really hard then about 115 is the best ive done.

110 to 115 was my average. Never rode more than 15 miles with the light on. Usually dont really know where the gas stations are where I ride. I start looking for gas at 80 miles and figure that gives me 30 to 40 to find some

I also want to know that I have enough in the tank to run from 5-O if need be

hey truck?. have you ever put your bike on the dyno to see what your air fuel table looks like?
I'd say your bike is running a wee bit lean:shrug:

I've never run mine till it was empty, but I get anywhere from 90 to 135 miles before the light comes on, just depends on how hard I'm rid'n.

Nope, but I can tell you that it was rich before I put the aftermarket can on. Ive got to find a dyno in this erea cause I dont think there is. It might be a little lean but not much cause after warm up," I dont do this normally" when I do a hard rev it blows some fuel blow out.

to be expected living near such a low sea level / humid climate. But that also accounts for the flexible range that the bike produces with your fuel useage. the emp also effcts it too. The main thing with fuel blow is the build up of gasses onto the heating up pipes along with the scavenger effect aiding the low rpm running without high amounts of evaporation from the heated pipes and with the gas buildup it'll turn into fule buildup that will get splewed out big time.
It's not until everything is up to full operating temp that you will have an accurate a/f reading across the rpm range. it just seems that your bike adapts drastically to maybe not so drastic transitions of the climate (weather).

did you get and have your bro install that pipe yet? if I'm thinkin correctly...:)

I dont know GNT but as far as sea level actually im in the blue ridge moutains and at arount 1800feet. If anything the air is thinner up here

Mabee thats whats wrong with me :D

i ran mine out of gas about 40 miles after reserve so if you go more then 30 over make sure you are up hill from a station.
