: Stitches Are Out!!!
By-Tor 07-22-2004, 10:21 PM They came out Monday but the doc told me to wait for the bandages to come off in the shower. You can see I could'nt wait for that any longer :D

What you dont see is the third incision just above my shoulder blade (I could'nt get that angle as I took these pics myself).
gntbldr 07-22-2004, 11:10 PM that looks Healthy.! what's the doc's orders for healing and rehab?
By-Tor 07-22-2004, 11:18 PM Passive streatching excercises for now and small muscle contractions without moving the shoulder joint Therapy 3 times a week. I have 46 more sessions left :D . This shoulder will be better than the other. Some day I have to get the other one done and then I wont have to worry about them slipping out of joint in my sleep.
gntbldr 07-22-2004, 11:46 PM aye.
shoulders take some time and gentleness. most used rotating joint I'd say. cool that he has you vitalizing and stimulating the area with that exercise here and there with the therepay coming on full tilt in what? less than a month?
full tilt meaning actual range of motion teasers and some strengthening...
By-Tor 07-23-2004, 09:11 AM As the Fonz would say, "Exactamundo!". Feels great and the therapist is surprised by how well I'm doing. Said Im progressing faster than a regular rotator cuff patient and I had that and two other procedures. It's very encouraging and inspires me to be very diligent when it comes to my home therapy routine. Now all I need is my insurance check so I can start shoping for next seasons bike :D
Anonymous 07-23-2004, 01:53 PM glad to hear you doing good, keep it up and you'll be back at it in no time.
gntbldr 07-23-2004, 02:04 PM ehhh
Anonymous 07-23-2004, 02:13 PM oh yea, whats in the puzzle pieces on your arm?
By-Tor 07-23-2004, 02:23 PM That tat is about 4 years old and have not gotten around to finishing it yet. The removed pieces reveal muscle, bone and veins. Some day I'll have the tat outlined with torn skin look and the pieces will be shaded to look like steel with rivets in the corners. I had a welding business and am a welder at heart even though I finance my hobbies and day to day expenses through a different line of work nowadays. The tat on my other arm is me. A welder wielding a Welding stinger and surrounded by flames which wrap my bicep. I'll post a pic sometime.
Anonymous 07-23-2004, 03:10 PM sounds cool I would like to see those pics.
gntbldr 07-23-2004, 03:14 PM I wish getting ink done didn't cost so much.
By-Tor 07-23-2004, 03:29 PM You guys have any ink?
By-Tor 07-23-2004, 04:20 PM Seems a bit gay doing this but oh well......

By-Tor 07-23-2004, 05:08 PM Chores :? Oh yea, you got the little lady livin with you now :D WHHHHPPPPSSSHHH :!: :!: :!:
By-Tor 07-23-2004, 05:10 PM Check out the yellow bruise. The 27th will be one month and that shit is still there.
gntbldr 07-23-2004, 05:47 PM hahahah... da lil lady..... hahahaha the only thing on the honey do list for this weekend is to take her camping. :D
on the gnt do list is rearrange my storage unit, load up the truck with camping and boating gear, drink plenty of alchohol and get a lil rest and finally go camping, and boating and drink more rum. :D maybe some beer too.
then next week get the katana done so I can have some fun.
Yeah, I noticed the your body is finaly consuming all that dead blood floating around inside your flesh. moving along pretty good! that stuff normally takes around two months to go away but you can still feel some minor solidified shit under the skin which will go away after about six months.
as the doc said you Are healing well and keep up the good work! the better you heal the harder you can play again. ;)
Da1000RRStuna 07-23-2004, 06:32 PM stop sucking it in..let that fat hang!!! :D
Wheelie 07-23-2004, 06:52 PM wuh? weee
By-Tor 07-23-2004, 07:08 PM 170lbs to your 220 Stuna :D 32" waist baby, I lost 30 lbs in the last year and a half. Do have to tighten up a bit though. I started packin the weight on when I got married almost 4 years ago. Wife sure can cook :P
Truck 07-23-2004, 09:47 PM I used to work with a fabricator that taught me all kinds of things about welding and fabrication. Spent 6 years with him and the old man forgot more than most people know about steel and doing things with it. After welding for so long under trucks while wearing no shirt," yea I know what your thinking, stupid right" when I went to get a simple tat on my arm that should of took 30 minutes actually took 3 1/2 hours cause my skin wouldnt take ink. He said it was like tatooing aligator skin, he went through 3 needles during the process. He has gone over it three times and it still is faided. Now that I havent welded much in years the skin isnt like that any more but ive still got to get this ugly ass tatoo fixed  :D
Anonymous 07-24-2004, 09:41 AM those are kick ass, no I don't have any tats but have always thought about getting some.
I've just never seen anything that I'm sure I will like for the rest of my life.
gntbldr 07-24-2004, 09:46 AM tatoos....

that back one is only 1/3 of the way done with it getting a mountain scene in the background with some stars and a cresent moon and there is a dragon that flys wing side of the left shoulder after the wings get put on that guy. The guy is my ID and his wings have the bone structure of a dragon with the feathers of an angels' wings.
and the fat is almost gone :P pics are a lil old...
Anonymous 07-24-2004, 10:37 AM the one on your back is cool as hell, looks like he just got done with a battle, looks like he should be walking off from a bunch of dead bodies, that he just slayed....
olderRR. 07-24-2004, 03:07 PM I really hope you guys are done with the comparisons! Fo God's sake, give us a break, would ya???
:D :D :D :D
Glad to see your healing up OK! Definitely some nice stitching!
By-Tor 07-24-2004, 08:03 PM Nice work gnt. Now that I wont have a bike payment for a few months, I might have to get some more work done :D Come on olderRR, you know you want in on the show and tell
gntbldr 07-26-2004, 12:39 AM hahaha yeah olderRR. ... come on and show everyone your love handles too! hahaha mine were from being layed up as By-Tor and truck are doing.
If I would've just listened to my head saying I was full instead of watching old gp races on tapes over and over eating ice cream I woulda been fine hhahahaha :D ;) ;)
thanks for the words on my back tat Max. :) the battle he looked as if he had was only with himself so to say since the blood is coming from stigmata....... or ripping himself off the cross.
The dead bodies are there in the backgorund by one of the mounds before the Mt.s a mound with bones and skulls and looks like the hill Jesus was crucified on. funny you saw that.
that one costed me $450 so far
you know your a redneck if you finance your tatoos!!!!! lol..... (no ... I didn't do that. but that line always makes me laugh! )
Anonymous 07-26-2004, 05:12 AM thats cool as hell, I was just taking what he looked like and guessed the rest, thats going to be a bad ass tat when your done with it. hell it is now, so it can only get better..
