Wednesday on my way home from work, I noticed a buzzing type noise at 5500 rpms. Doesn't matter what gear, and doesn't go away till back under 5500 rpms.
The other noise started Friday on my home from work. Sounds alot like a valve rattle. Yes, my oil is full, and only has 1200 miles on the oil. It's from idle to as high as I want to bring it.
The bike just turned 12,000 miles.

Ok, I found the 5500 rpm buzz.
It's my Steering Dampner mount.
But the rattle sounds like the exhaust valve.
I put it up on stands a little while ago to check.

Dont cha just hate it when that happens, then only to find releif to know it was that simple :roll: :wink:

Push down on the guage cluster next time you ride. Mine buzzed at that RPM. Just something worth checking.

The metal plate in my leg buzzes now too :D
