no.
helpfull to achieve optimum a/f ratio at all rpm... yes.

a bitch to tune with the intake and exhaust valves of the stock system so just adding a pc wouldn't do much for you except with a custom map. then it's a different world. 8)

also best (with the latest big bore cbr's) is to run a full system to eliminate the exhaust valve and then do the intake mods and what not to have the standard exhaust system work correctly...
