You riding the 1000 this weekend? If so, would be cool if you could write up a comparison between the 954 and the 1000 since you are fresh off the 954 and can give some real feedback.

cool man.....i'll give it a shot :D

first off....this is my first experience with a hydraulic clutch and i'm not sure if i like it. it's smooth, don't get me wrong, but it seems to hurt the launch a lil bit. maybe i just need to get used to it. i like the fact that it's not near as wheelie prone as the 954....it'll still do it, with ease, but you can get into it harder and longer before the front wants to come up. i haven't done a lot of that yet, being that i only have a lil over 200 miles on her so far. the power is nice....very nice. with all i had done to the 954 and thinking i had it running right, none of that mattered.....this bike is strong, REAL strong. and the handling...... this thing absolutely falls into the corners, think about it and it'll do it. and don't worry about getting back on the gas, the 014's hold real good and warm up fairly quick..... then the damper really settles down the front so you don't have to worry about the headshake. i feel like i'm having to learn how to ride all over again :D but i have noticed that this bike heats up faster than my 954. i was rolling through town and of course it was hot, around 100 degrees, but i wasn't sitting still long and i saw 230........231...............233 and climbing :!: :!: the hottest my 54 ever got was 226 and that was in Bike Week traffic in Daytona. not sure about that.

i hope this give you an idea, but i need more seat time. what seat time i do have makes me want to thank the fuckers that took my 954..................................... ....not really, i hate thieves. i am very happy with this ride so far. i really feels like a complete package

good luck and heal up fast so you can get out there and give us your own review :D

Lets hear it wheelie. Even though I'm Honda loyal, I like hearing and learning about all bikes.
