WORM 08-07-2004, 02:01 PM I got a knocking sound somewhere in the front end, If I give it gas I can hear it pop also when I slow down hard and when I hit some bumps. I've gone over evey nut and bolt so I'm thinking its got to be something internal . Thanks spikedog 08-07-2004, 06:24 PM hey, I had a similar noise on my old 00 929, it turned out to be a collapsed spring in one of the forks, had them rebuilt and then was as good as new, then I traded it in on a 02 954. hope this helps! :D jaybird 08-08-2004, 09:30 PM i had the same problem with mine, you need to have the head bearing tightened. that is all that was wrong with mine. haven't had a problem since. Thanks I've been told you can verify if the recall was done by looking at your VIN plate on the frame. If it has a little dent in it, like someone put a chisel on it and tapped it, then it's been done. | ||
