I have a CBR954 and was wondering if anyone knows of an upper fairing bracket that is available aftermarket that might bolt on to give the windscreen some additional support. I can get by okay doing highchair wheelies without the additional support, but highchair stoppies are another story. Has anyone fabricated there own brace to help support the front fairing on a 954? :?

nope..go to a machine shop and have them make you something

Everyone I know just ends up breaking their shit... If you arent worried about your stock look you can chop the whole thing at the mirror stay level and use pipe insulator across the top or you can have a top and bottom bracket formed at a machine shop like Stuna said.

I almost forgot... There is one way to mod up additional support. Buy a 98-99 CBR 900rr mirror stay and bolt it up. You will need to drill holes for the 900 mirror bolt holes. The 900 holes will be closer to the top of the fairing than the 954 mirror bolts. Just run both mirror stays and you should have plenty of support.

Thanks to all for their input. I'll probably get a used '98-'99 bracket. If not, I'll use it as a starting point for fabricating a custom bracket. Thanks again :clap:
