right now i have the 954rr i want to buy the hid kit for it but i want to know if it will fit the 1000rr when i buy it and i would like to know what kits are good and where to buy from

I thought the 954 was a H4 and the 1000rr was the H7???

i had the same bulbs/kit in my 954,600rr and now the 1000..handed down from bike to bike..fit perfect...

The bulbs that i bought on ebay were H7's and they dont fit. The puck argued with me that they fit but they dont. The plugg in in the back of the bulb is different. :x

I have looked around, not much tho. Any links where to buy? And possibly the expected coast.

hey truck, i just bought sme h-7's and they work fine. might have sent you the wrong ones by mistake. it does use h-7's though

H7's is what I was told by the dealer but I think there is a guy on ebay with hella kits for 325 and thats the way to go.... I love my Hella 8K

The socket dont plugg into the back of the bulb. The bulb probably fits into the socket, you just cant plugg the dam thing inn. :x
