seems Turbo was one of the slowest guy there that day and he asked to be bump up to the intermediate group and one of the guys there tried to talk him out of it but Turbo insist to be let on the track,so he let him go!! one lap later Turbo came running off the track and went right back to the navis group :D

Give me a couple more trackdays.

Here are the facts:
- first day riding of the season
- first trackday of the season
- first day on new bike with worked motor
- first day riding since the surgery
- first time at FUSA course

I'm not making any excuses but Damn, you guys really want me to go out there and kill myself. :roll:

I was slow on the first session of the day. My fairing popped off, I was having electrical problems etc. (which eventually ironed itself out) But by the time I got to the third session I was really comfortable and was starting to put the laps together. I asked to get bumped up to intermediate. I did 1 lap and saw what a mad house it was with all the Expert guys running in the intermediate group. Some beginners were in intermediate, and the intermediate guys were in intermediate. The track had like 40 guys on it during that session and 70 people showed up on the day. So of course I went back to beginner with 10 other guys and virtually had the whole track to myself because we were so far apart.

Believe me when I tell you, there were a lot of guys running in intermediate that should have been running in beginner. lol

I'm working on going with Team Pro-Motion on the 29th.

I'm not taking anything the wrong way. That's where you're wrong. I've never lied about my abilities. I am fast on the street (not claiming to be the fastest, like our dear friend Stuna, but respectable none the less). And I told you the truth about what went down on the trackday. I didn't have to post anything. Plus, when I started to get comfortable the day got rained out. I've got nothing to be ashamed of by riding in the beginner group. My next trackday I'll be in intermediate where I belong. No biggie.

I'd like to see how fast some of you guys would be riding not to long after an invasive surgery, first time at a particular track, first time on a bike all season. I think your expectations are a bit unrealistic.

Don't sweat it too much Turbo. My brother was running his bike at Loudon the same day as you were at your track day and he low sided in the wet conditions. I have a long ways before I can get to the track with my shoulder being how it is. Get that shoulder strong so you dont have to think about it, the task at hand on the track is enough :wink:

By the way. The guy with the R6 that went with me on Thursday went back on Friday and did the day with Team Promotion.

He lowsided his R6 in Turn one breaking from the front straight on a wet track. He was Fuckin fast on Thursday.

Just goes to show how dangerous it is. I wasn't there to prove that I had big balls. Especially it being my first ride of the season.
