Alright, first enjoy all the posts (especially when everybody is givin 2k2 sh$t :D ) Not a gearhead, but need some suggestions. I want to get a stand and fender elim kit and need some suggestions on what to get. Thanks.

I've got a set of Pitbull stands and I like them alot. Well built-easy to use.

I have the pitbull rear spool stand and the woodcraft.com front stand.

Gettin the intergrated tail light from hardracing.com $97.00

if you want to go the cheap route with the stand Handy Stands work ok enough... had them for the 954 but dunno if they're the same for the 1K :shrug:

Well, I just seem to remember a few threads were 2k2 made a comment or 2 and got some heated replies! LOL I think it's great how everybody gives everybody shieat in this forum and nobody takes it seriosly (usually). Thanks for the comments on the mod/stand. Where can you get a handy stand?

When I first got the bike and was checking out this great forum, I saw the thread about the speedo. Well, I checked it out with the letter that someone posted and my speedo was working fine :D Now, this last couple of days I noticed that I seemed to be going a lot faster than my speedo indicated. Checked it again with the specs (3rd gear 36 mph at 4krpm) and it's off :!: I didn't know that it go bad later on? Have you guys heard of this happening? Thanks
