Here's a link to a thread I started http://1000rr.com/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1783 Shows what I did to my tail and where I got the plate bracket. I have'nt installed the indicators yet cause I might go integrated (one less thing to remove for track days).

I've got a set of Pitbull stands and I like them alot. Well built-easy to use.

if you want to go the cheap route with the stand Handy Stands work ok enough... had them for the 954 but dunno if they're the same for the 1K

Well, I just seem to remember a few threads were 2k2 made a comment or 2 and got some heated replies! LOL I think it's great how everybody gives everybody shieat in this forum and nobody takes it seriosly (usually). Thanks for the comments on the mod/stand. Where can you get a handy stand?

HERE (http://www.handyindustries.com/standpackages.asp)
but I highly recomend calling them and asking if the cbr stand works on the new 1000.

if Stuna's still using his same pitbull or whatever that he used on his 954 on his 1K then that answer would be a yes too...

Thanks for the info, still deciding which to get (probably will go with the handy stands). Weird thing happened to my bike! :? When I first got the bike and was checking out this great forum, I saw the thread about the speedo. Well, I checked it out with the letter that someone posted and my speedo was working fine :D Now, this last couple of days I noticed that I seemed to be going a lot faster than my speedo indicated. Checked it again with the specs (3rd gear 36 mph at 4krpm) and it's off :!: I didn't know that it go bad later on? Have you guys heard of this happening? Thanks
