I had my first experience with a stobe tail in front of me trail riding in MS and that guy ended up having to ride behind me 'cause I was sick of staring at that thing blinking all the time...

ok, im gonna get flamed by some for this im sure...but flame on! lol

#1 GHEY. that is the gheyest thing i have ever seen on a bike, short of the time some jackass in my area was spotted with yellow colored tires on his red bike.

#2 Pose much? I think this is a clear indication of a poser. that thing prolly ran him 200 bucks, and he coulda used that for a pair of gloves or some boots, or maybe a lid or something. But i support the choice to ride with or without gear, so im not a stickler on that much.

#3 hazardous, possibly illegal? Wouldn't that serve as a distraction, possibly taking ones concentration of the road or even him and maybe some dipshite in a cage rear ending him? maybe, maybe not. questionable though. and i thought flashing red lights are illegal? they are in my town anyhow....can't even have those little windshield wiper light-up jobs on the hood of your car in red or blue.

Well the cops can pick him out in a group of bikes just look for the flashing tail light.Do i like it, ummmmmmmmmmmm NO! If your going to buy a tail light kit get the one that just has the blinkers in it that flashes. I have know blinkers at all so i dont care just use your hand signals it is legal.

The idea of a flashing tail light is a good idea but the fuckin disco club that guy had going on was just stupid.....

I like that Dr X kit because you can add a little something to the blinkers to help draw more attention to it when you want to change lanes or turn....

Bottom line is using programmable tail lights as safty equipment is great any other use is the sure sign of a Squid.....

you;re right i retract my previous comments. I thought about this and i agree that the flashing can be a good safety thing....but not how he had it. like under breaking a steady flash would be better, kinda like how those headlight modulaters work.

but yes, how he had it was very squidly.

Have been looking at the forum for a while now and have just registered yesterday - Some good stuff.
I like how you US guys are so keen to modify the new blade - Not much stuff for the new blade here in Australia yet.
Had my CBR1000RR (Black/Grey) since May and have done 3500km - No problems at all.
