LEDs off e-bay, cheap plasit parts, fast blink rates, but no plastic mod, easy install and they look danm cool :-).

got em off e-bay for cheaper tho.

If you get the dual function, you wont have the fast blink rate.

there ya go! Just remember the plastic is light and cheap. I like it an dit looks chrome on the bike so no one will know but you, but just a fair warning. I will try to get a pic of them on my bike, they look sweet.

Putting a resisitor on the positive line will take care of the fast blinking......

Might have to get the 5 bulb model they sell cause I would rather have a black suround than chrome. Running lights would'nt hurt either  Thanks again for the info Kat.

Just installed my 5 bulb led flushmounts from http://www.thesmithboys.com/purchase_flushmounts.htm . It was a piece of cake and the wiring instructions were very detailed. They stick to the plastics with 3M double side trim tape so no hardeware is needed. You do have to open up one of the factory holes in the plastics slightly though. All 5 bulbs glow as running lights and they flash in sequence from the first bulb to the fifth and then back down to the first with every flash of the blinkers. Its not very noticable but it's like a slow version of that Night Rider grill light. I think I would rather all 5 bulbs flashed at once instead of one at a time. I was not aware that this is how they functioned but it's no big deal. Overall I am pleased with the product. I'll post pics tomorrow.

I am now not so happy with these flushmounts. The turnsignal functions very eratically. Sometimes they flash in the chase sequence that I described in the above post and sometimes only 2 bulbs will flash back and forth. I now plan to wire them in such a way that all 5 bulbs will flash together as turn signals but I will then lose my running lights. I will have to experement with this further and I will report my findings.

I am to say the least devastated that your lights are giving you trouble :-(. I only have the single function and they work awesome. I have had occasion to e-mail with Adam Smith and he is most accomodating, may I suggest if you still have trouble, contact them, (not htat you wouldn't) but just so you know they have been very helpful to me.

I'm sure they would be more than happy to help me out, but I am not sure I want only one bulb flashing as my signal at a time. I would rather all 5 flash at once so I will give up my running lights to have maximum flash.

Hey Kat if those are flush mounted how well can they be seen from the front? do they have a angle on them or something?

Well, you see......

You can't really see them at all ( mine are purple) during the day. I don't know about the other colors. I left mine on top of the plastic instead of cuttingthe plastic, so they stick out a bit, and at night, they light up the whole road, so there is no problem there.

So to answer your question, no you cant see them, relaly at all...., BUT THEY LOOK GOOD :D

%$&*%(#(!!!!!

I wish, I have this bad ass 3.3 Megapixel camera, and when I moved in April, it never came out of the wreckage, I think it is still burried in a box in the garage, but I am moving again, so I should find it soon. None of this would matter, if I could find my damn cell phone, but my kids played hide the phone.....

When I ride to work again I will ask my buddy with a camera phone to post it, right now the best I can do is tell you to look at my pics posted in my first long one thread, You MAY be able to see it there.
