FLIP954RR 01-31-2004, 02:32 PM  http://www.helmetharbor.com/estore/products.cfm?seriesid=Suomy+Spec+Extreme +Helmet
those look too colorful for me......hey Turbo, this would look better than your orange helmet!!
GeNeRaL 01-31-2004, 02:34 PM yipes.....those are a little too "busy" for my tase in looks. Nce lids, but id rather drop 150-200+ less on a nice Shark or Arai :)
cbrjimmy1KRR 01-31-2004, 03:56 PM wow
get one of those and a cager couldn't use the excuse "well, officer, i didn't see him" :P
Anonymous 01-31-2004, 05:46 PM :omg: those are a little wild for me but probably good helmets

Anonymous 01-31-2004, 06:11 PM pip I've seen that someone posted it on the 54 forum but I can't find it
Anonymous 01-31-2004, 08:49 PM Damn, I wouldnt know weather to go ride or trip some acid with those things.....
Truck 01-31-2004, 08:57 PM Looks like the 60's is back. I think we can blame a little bit of this on rossi," have you seen his gear lately"? He is all flowers :!: That's probably where a lot of this is comming from.
Da1000RRStuna 01-31-2004, 09:35 PM there nice but they fog up way to easy and they dont fits snug like the Arai..
good bitch helmet/female passanger
Truck 02-01-2004, 06:14 AM Yea, they dont need to see anyway. I aggree with you an arai is the way to go :!:
Anonymous 02-01-2004, 09:48 AM Arai is the way to go vut I have learned that hard way not to stunt in them...... to much $$$
Friction954 02-01-2004, 11:03 AM The way I look at it is, You can go spend all that money on artistic helmet, when in fact, it's gonna do the same thing in an accident as a $150-200 plain helmet. So why spen $600+ on a helmet...
Go spend the money on something else (Jacket, Pants, Parts)

Thats not all the way true, some helmets are just made differently. The one you pay more for, like Arai,Shoei,Suomy etc. etc. spends a lot of money on researching crashes in their helmets, and the technology nowadays in the way the helmets are made--lighter,stronger are one of the reasons the GREAT helmets cost much more.
I think someone said it in this forum or somewhere else...
$100 helmet for a $100 head
Truck 02-01-2004, 04:11 PM The wreck I was just in, if I had been wearing say a novelty helmet i would have most likely died. It may sound cleshay but its the truth got a $10.00 head buy a $10.00 helmet.
I wrecked in a shoei and it took quite a whack :!: Youre melon, youre choice.
Friction954 02-01-2004, 10:20 PM Right... I see your point. But I kinda meant graphics wise... you don't need to pay so much for a helmet with all those graphics when they'll just get fucked up anyway.
I have a $200+ HJC, but it's plain, no graphics.... see what I mean? Sorry I wasn't clear enough about that!
Da1000RRStuna 02-02-2004, 01:34 AM I tride just about every helmet out there..the Arai is the best by far,at high speeds the visor is air tight,no wind making my eyes tear  tight fit so the strap aint choking me,no air shakes(air slipping in between my head and the padding at high speed make it dance) and its super light no stiff necks
Truck 02-02-2004, 08:01 AM You got that one right brotha :!: arai is the stuff. Friction youre right if you do a lot of stuntin then to buy all the graphics is pointless but for the old curve carvers like me I dont plan on goin down. Well not since this past october anyway :D I keep twp helmets, right now I have a shoei and a hjc. My next purchace will be a arai though :!:
