god damn it I am a fucking squid, I went to do a stoppie right in front my g/f @ her work, the concrete transitioned into brick, I guess brick is very slick, & lost the front end. damage isn't too bad, if I needed an excuse to change the stock signals I have it, and the mirror, impressed w/ the plastic though just took the paint off & off the left cover, no cracks.
My hands would have been chewed up pretty good, gloves worked awesome.
Ok I will stop crying, now I have to go do a big ass rotating stoppie just to prove I am not a puss. those are always more embarrassing than painful. Not the first & not the last, if I could make a deal w/ the devil which I did this once a week, but never any worse, I would do it.

I,ve really haven't tried a rolling stoppie much, one Sunday were I used to live there is this road going to a factory that is new asphalt that I played on for a couple of hours trying to get it down, but I got to the point were I was getting the back tire pretty high at about 35mph. I had one close call and I haven't tried is since.

Dont feel bad we all have our moments. Right before my surgery I did a mile sitdown wheelie and the guys that saw me do it were singing praises to me to everybody then I pulled out in the road and pulled up 1st and my foot hit the shifter and did a false neutral. Were all squids, "just on different days". :D

I was by there today & there was a painted stripe on the brick where I bit it. I was wondering where the blue came from.

I have been dragging my feet getting a frame protector
I cannot make up my mind w/ slider vs. cage
the cage best protects, but how much does it hit when leaned over or banging your legs on it?
I really like the woodcraft sliders, I cant find them for the 54.
the Sato w/ the delrin is looking good.
any thoughts?

I can tell you I had the Lockharts and a 25mph lowside ended up being a scratched bar end, ground slider, rear foot peg was up so only the bottom of that got scraped, the stator cover got slightly ground, and the rear spool/slider was munched a wee bit.
bike span around in 2 and 3/4 circles...

here's a pic

Hey. Flightmedic, didn't your bike shut off when you fell over? I recently had a low side on my 954 and it shut down, or where you able to grab it before it hit?
