Start reading about the rc211v and the 600rr they both run on prolink suspension...... From wjat I understand its great for racing For stunting the ballance point is going to suck because of how long that swingarm is....

Well my 54 is so new to me Im still trying to get the hang of it. It does seem to me that most of the stunt video's I own, most of the guy's are riding on a 29 or a 54. I dont know about the balance point but i have rode two or three really good wheelies in 1st and 2nd. Havent got to third mainly cause I'm not that good and I dont like being on one tire over 90mph. I understand that on the 54 the pickup tube for the oil is in the back of the pan allowing for lubrication even when at a 12'oclock position, dont know if that one is true but all the mechanics in this erea tell me that this is true of this bike. As far as the 211 or the 600 I did not know that they were made the same way,"thats encouaging". Most of all the guys and gals i ride with all have something negative to say about it and I didnt even know about it until after I had already bought the thing.
thanks :!: 8)

I thought you were talking about the 1000rr, I guess if I payed attention I would have known that. The 900, 929 and 954 are the most popular choice among the pro stunters and in my opinion you cant beat Hondas in the balance point department. The 1000rr will more than likely be a crappy stunt bike because of the leinght of the swingarm. What are your friends riding thats so great?

A couple of RC51's, R1, and mostly 600's. Im going to have to get used to the 54 before I can be more objective about it. I do know that the the only advantage so far from a rc is that it seems to be faster in the curves. The r1 is faster taking off in 1st gear only, once im in second im right there with him. The only reason in first is I cant keep the F :censored: ing front end on the ground. Next time Im gonna lay accross the gas tank and see if I can get a better launch. I also think that once im good and healed up that Ill find myself a lot faster in the curves for the rc. 8)

You'll learn how to launch. It can be done without popping up and you'll accelerate right with the R1, or better... depending on the rider. Just practice

Well you can rest easy knowing that your boys are on bikes that suck for stunting. The RC-51 is crap and so is the R1 (for stunting). Anyone on a 600 talkin shit about the 954 can eat a dick because they are just jealous that they are on a smaller bike. I always like to ask people what the specific technical reasons are when they say stuff like the swingarm sucks so the bike doesnt stunt well and 9 times out of 10 they cant answer, this means that they are armed only with their own uneducated opinions.

The 1000rr will be harder to balance in a wheelie because Honda opted to go with the cassette style trany and the pro-link suspension. To use the pro-link setup and a faster motor they needed to make the swingarm longer wich meant moving the transmition forward. With the trany posisioned where it is it ofsets more wight to the front and the swingarm somewhat acts as a wheelie bar. Bottom line alot of the design of that bike was to keep the front wheel down wich equals poor balance point. The R1 has the same problem.

Well this sure is great news for me. I really like slicing the twisties and I dont want anyone running off and leaving me. I also wanted a bike that I could just twist the wrist and bring the front up, it seems that this is a real good bike for either. Im a big guy at 235lbs,( I know I need to loose some weight  ) However my ideal weight comes in at about 205lbs,(have a hell of a time finding leathers). This last wreck packed on a few pounds cause all I did was lay around for 3 months and eat.

To give Kevin some credit on his RC he can ride a stand up for about 2 to 3 miles :!: He also happens to be the fastes person in this erea that I know :!:
Ive rode the bike though and It doesnt seem to be real big on getting the front up and holding it there," he just happens to be an exellent rider".

The dinamics of the R1 seems to be a lot like that of the 1000rr to keep the front wheel on the ground but at the same time feels real good in the twisties. Anyway thats my :twocents:
