This thread is intended to be a place you can put information on the 1000RR that might be helpful
For instance
The tail section of the 1000rr can fit up to a 10.5 inch long 4 inch wide u-lock
The tourqe specs on the front caliper bolts are 33ft lbs
Scorpio alarms has just recieved their OEM style harness for the cbr1000rr
things like that. use words that people might search for

Toughest U-lock out there with 2 extra inches of reach for getting you bike connected to a pole or whatever. Fits the u-lock holder on 1000rr. If it gets stolen make sure it was professionals...at least you'll know the parts went on another bike instead of in a ditch

You get 150 miles to the tank full under normal riding conditions. That includes about 35 miles of riding after the low fuel light warning lamp comes on.

that's good to know oldskool.
my old 954's only got 130 right at the light coming on... I thought that was ok but 150 is even better... And it's on the 1KRR! :D
