RIPOFF!!!!!

Everything MSRP. They didn't budge.

Gotta pay that $20,000 rent I suppose. I give them a year before they fold.

whats wrong? same price as the Ducati..I dont get it..why people would want to spend that kind of $ on a bike..for the price of that one bike..you can get a 1000RR and a 600RR for the track..

Cause dey wanna be pimps!!!! :D

The Aprilia is actually a better bargain than the Ducati.

The Aprilia Mille R Factory is runs for $17,800 and it comes with all the Ohlins goodies and carbon fiber, as opposed to the 999s that runs for $22,900 and still doesn't have carbon fiber.

I saw the RS250 and I like. Nice looking track bike.

Some people want a top dollar product's because they think the fact that they spent top dollar on something will impress other people. Same thing with Harley Davidson's and Hummers, It's not really a better product but since it's more expensive it makes them feel better about them selves. I'm probably wrong about some people who have top dollar toys, but thats the general attitude about most of them that I've met.

My buddy rides an svs1000 and just picked up a 2002 aprilia rsv with 2200 miles, MINT for 8000 cash. Id rather wait till its been out a year or two and look for deals like that.

That's the only thing I don't like about the Mille's.

They have piss poor resale value. My boy just sold his 2001 Mille with $3,000 in extras for $6,500.

If I buy the Mille and I think it's a pig, I won't get anything near what I paid for it. It would be easier to find a rich sucker that would buy the ducati.

A good season to have a Ducati would be the spring time or in the fall. Not too hot or cold just nice days. :D

The only good reason is so that you can empty your bank accounts.

I don't believe in buying such expensive bikes, but if had extra money slapping me in the face I would run out and buy myself MV Agusta, I think this bike is better looking and might out perform with the right rider the DUC and the Aprilla....Just my two cents.

The MV Agusta got spanked by the 2002 GSX-R600. It will get destroyed by the likes of the Aprilia and the Ducati with the right riders.

I have to agree here. I ride with 2 guys with MV agusta F4's. Both are far from perfomance marvels. One guy has 8 bikes and says every other sportbike he ownz is far ahead of the MV in performance. Of course, his MV only has under 500 miles in the 3 years he's had it...

O.K. Maybe I could be wrong with performance thing, but it's still a much better looking bike right?

Two reason's, not that they're necessarily good: 1) nice sound and, 2) they're two wheeled panty removers 'cause most chicks don't know any better. Same philosophy as the guy that buys a Porsche Boxster when you could buy something like a Subaru STi that would blow it away for way less money.

I think the new mille is going to win the master bike shootout this year in the mags.

Remember last year when the colin edwards edition mille ran 0.2 seconds slower than the revamped Gixxer 1000? Well Aprilia reps are saying that this new mille runs an average of about 1 second faster than the C.E. edition mille on most tracks. That's impressive.

It makes competitive torque and lower in the RPM range than any new liter bike. And all of the new liter bikes are neck and neck with the gixxer so far. So we'll see.

I don't know. Around here, I don't think chicks even know what aprilia is.....
