The '04 Mladin Replica.
American Suzuki will release more details on this machine in the near future but the Suzuki web site has some details on a late-arriving model they'll be selling in the US—the 2004 Suzuki Mladin Replica GSX-R1000.

I know what you're thinking. Wouldn't this be a wonderful stop-gap measure for Suzuki to stay competitive in AMA Superbike? Build an "RR" model GSX-R1000 with an updated fuel injection system and other niceties to help them keep pace with Honda and Ducati?

Sadly, it's not going to happen.

Suzuki reps said this morning that the Mladin replica GSX-R1000 is mechanically identical to the standard GSX-R1000.

I can see them making it with the paint scheme then I can see every dick head that buys one killing him self because he thinks hes Matt Mladin..
but it would be funny shit smoking them on a 600 :D

so if i get some Bruce Transportation and all other kinds of aftermarket stickers and slap them on my 954, could i sell it as a "real race replica" ?

back in the day the Vance and Hines purple/yellow replica was the shit.
fzr1000... my first literbike to ever ride and it was geared low in the front and showed it with every blip of the throttle and skyscrape in result of it...
it was re geared to have posers think they had a faster bike because it was soo throttle sensitive... :lol:

nope... it's lasered on the tank.. By buddy just got one because it was black on the bottom and... :roll: of course a status item. (major :roll: )...
turns out the black bottom is only painted on or is a sticker... my bud found that out after he set the bike down on it's side. :roll: :lol: dude was bent... lol
