Hi Guys,
I am writing from Rome - Italy, and after one year reading the 954rr Forum I've decided to register here so we can share comments and opinions about CBR's world from both Europe and U.S.
I own a 954 M.Y. 2002, I love track days (free practice....don't have licence to race yet) but I also use the bike on open roads...well untill the cops will definetly grab my driving licence... I was thinking to upgrade to the new 1lt Fireblade but I'll probably go for it in 2005.
Ciao everibody.

You 're right buddy, however we have many Japanese bikes around, especially on track days. This is because they are cheaper to buy and to fix and, indeed, the are faster then a stock Ducati. Ducati is a bike for rich people, you got to spend money on it if you don't want be smoked from Honda,Suzu,Yama and Kava. Here in Italy Aprilia is doing wery well, I've tested the last RSV1000 R, if one day I will go for a Twin this will be my choice....the Factory is even better.
Now is just damn cold here....we are all looking forward for next spring riding season.

Welcome, a friend of mine just bought a 04 millieR. He is a first time rider, I tried to get him to get an old 600RR or something similar but he just had to have the aprillia. He went riding on it a little while ago and it scared the crap out of him so now he is having second thoughts about the thing." I tried to tell him not to go for a liter bike for his first".
Hes gonna let me scrubb the tires in for him so Ill make sure that they are real goood and scrubbed :!: :D
