Just another bullshiiet story of dealer carelessness. I go outside today to start my bike and let it warm up and run it on its stand as i do every other week. I just had the 8000 mile service done last week at my local dealership, I go back to the bike and it reads 232 degrees. With further inspection my fans were never pluged in. Thats the service i get for 400 dollars. If i wanted monkeys working on my bike I'd bring it to the goddamn circus. :!:

Idiots. There is a new Honda dealer in town to open soon. I am seriously considering trying for the service managers job. It is a cut in pay for me, but I might enjoy the headaches of that job more than the one I have.

thats why I dont let anyone touch my bike..these shop monkeys dont give a fuck,if they dont like what there doing then they should look for different work, if I was fixing bike for a dealer I would treat each bike like it was my own..making sure everything is perfect..I wouldnt want to kill my self or someone else,I guess thats why all my boys only let me touch there bikes..
when it comes time to working on a bike I throw everyone out of my house/garage..having people around me gettin in my way gets me frustrate :x

It's not just Honda dealerships either...

My friend got a new chain on his ZX9r last summer, and the dickheads forgot to tighten the front sprocket, and luckily we caught the mistake before any damage was caused to the bike or him....

so far from one dealer I've had an improperly torqued oil filter that blew out it's seal at over 150mph soaking the front wheel and brakes along with the rear the same and it's a miracle I'm still here from that one
and also an unchecked motor from their so-called cleaning of my bike and replacing the tires and brakes so that baby blew at 171mph the very day I got the bike back.
Had to fight tooth and nail with the dealership and honda to get the first set of work done and for the blown motor they were just going to rebuild this nightmare and make me keep it even though I had a brand new bike fully decked before their monkey got a hold of it for the 600er.....
The same monkey that supposedly went over my used klr from that dealership...a klr that had watery blackened oil and filter that looks 6k mi. old as the air filter did too. Now lets talk tires, dry rotted, cupped, and below legal tread limimt in the rear with less than half the recommended air pressure in both tires while the front only calls out for 21psi.... Wicked finding out that while in a turn the bike wants to be a snow plow instead of a tilted gyro with some static friction :P
I had to Tell them they were putting new tires on to get them and when I got my bike back they had given it back to me with a broken shifter and as always with every bike I dealt with from them the chain was over tight...like as in a twaing to it like it's a guitar string...
I have to wait for one last ins. settlement with those yahoos and then They will never seee any of my or anyone I know's money. :x

I will only allow actual cerified techs to work on my bike. The dealer I have here has only one so they let the avarage ass work on my bike once and he stamped the recal dot in the side of my frame where the sticker was.
