my first 2 weekends,first 2 weekends ever on the track I was doing 1:17.4's consistent by my 10th race in amateur class..thats when I was 255lbs no gear on a 01 gixxer 600..
after that I was bumpped up to expert racer..I was running faster times then most of the experts racers that been racing there for more then 1 year..I was off the top 5 racers by 1-4 seconds..if I stayed racing now that I lost 35lbs im sure I would have been right up there with them, with in a few more weekends..

low 1:17's takes most guys over 1 year of racing and thats going to every race weekend they have.. :wink:
