I heard the new R1 is AVAILABLE!! Is trhis true??

Don't know, Don't care. Every squid (cept turbo) and their mother will be out to get one of these. At the end of this season you will find smashed ones on ebay by the dozen im sure :)

I doubt you will find it on the showroom floor simply because most of them have been pre-sold for a couple of months.....

yeah, you may find them there with signs on them like "SOLD to a squid" :P

That zx-10 is fukin foul in the looks department... In my opinion it is the uglies bike in its class. Plus the reviews from it are not that great. Motor Cyclist magazine said "this is the worst Japanese production transmition on the market today"

Ditto the last comment. I did not like the rear end in person at all. And just like last years model, there is no wind protection behind the front screen. But, the swingarm is TITS!

I think the Honda 1000RR is the best bike for the $ and you know your getting a well built machine, no short cuts taken and lots of technology..it still might not be the fastest stock liter bike out but you know your gonna get on that bitch and beat the shit out of hit and not have any worries..
I never liked listing to any mags..I like it when you get all these bikes out on the open highway at 3am and open them up..see who pulls on who.. :wink:

I hate Kawi's with a passion. It is deffinitly the worst in the class. I love undertail exhaust. I really like the stock steering damper on the RR.

Its funny seeing what other's think. I personally like the zx10. Seeing both the ZX10 and the 1000rr at biketoberfest, I kept going back to look at the ZX10. The 1000rr didn't do to much for me. I don't know if i like the underseat exhaust or not. I don't think I could put them in any order at this point. I've yet to see the yamaha in person. Pictures usually don't do any of these bike justice.
