To buy the 1000rr and who is rich enough to have both?

i thought about selling, but i hate to give her up. i could swing both, if i tried.....insurance prices willing, but don't see the sense. still not sure about upgrading....i'd be happy either way ........at least i have a bike regardless

For the price of the Duc, I could have the CBR1000RR and the new R1 as soon as they hit the showrooms and finance the ZX-10R and have that paid off by the end of the year. Just in time to finance the 05 GSX-R1000 and have that paid of in an additional 6 months.

I'm with ya on that one.... I dont like the clutch because of the horror stories I hear with stunting a hydraulic setup.

I'm not sellin the 54,I read that the 954's seating position is like a caddy opposed to 1000RR. To much power, 98% of the riders won't be able to ride it to it's fullest, hell the 954 is to much bike for me!

looks like I'll be hanging on to the 954 which is not really a bad thing, after all it's still more bike than I can ever get board on.

954 is plenty..10-20-30hp dont mean shit unless your using it all..
only reason I would get a 1000rr is because its newer,new look,more HP,better handling..I like rolling on the latest newest bikes out..1-2 years on the same bike is plenty for me then its time for something else..im glad Honda switches it up every 2 years..

I'm buying a house in a few months so I'm gonna sell it and pick up a 1000rr at the end of the year. There should be some decent sales then. That's if the 1000 doesn't turn out to suck and Honda doesn't debut a V-5 for '05.

Is there any other reason in the world to sell a perfectly good 954?

I'm keeping my 54. I really like that bike. And like has been said, I couldn't ride the 1000 any faster.

I'll be keeping mine until AT LEAST 2005, if not the end of 2006. It's nice to feel comfortable on a bike you're familiar with. And after this winter I finally got my 54 set-up they way I want it so...

Even though it has more power I will get the 1rr if the handling is better than the 54. The only problem is my wife says I have to sell all 4 of my bikes to get another new one.
