I am sad to report that my riding season is now over.

friggin Wi and it's god damned salt trucks :x :!:

total miles clocked: 13K
1st day out: March 12th 2004
last day out: November 24th 2004
amount of fun had on two wheels and a lot of the times one: unable to measure :D :!:

now all I have to do is get my trailer back from one of my buddies, put new wheels on it and fix the axle and I'll be trailering south to where the roads are still not sprinkled on like some sort of entree.

shit, I'd ride in the snow if there weren't for the friggin salt.

I've got family and friends down in TX and will be hauling the bike down there for a winter time scoot.
been to CA back in the mid to late 80's visiting family then and traveled from SF to SD.
Loved the roads I saw then near Treasure Island and the scenery was awesome too. beside the two old ladies making out on the tour bus. ewww

I just bought something called body armor from dicks sporting good. Several people say its the thing to wear under your suit.
Does any body know anything about it? $100.00 for a shirt and pants
It doesnt look that thick but the tagg says rated for anything under 50 degrees.

FEEDBACK please............

Hey Truck, I bought that stuff from dicks and I love it. It allows you to ride in colder temperatures and you don't have to wear bulky clothes to stay warm. You'll love them. They kick ass.

Well were in the low 40's around here these days. Are you wearing your leathers with the body armor or are you wearing something else too. After trying it on Im thinking in and of itself its not gonna keep me warm under prefarated leathers. Whatcha think :!:

OMG! It was so cold this week. Our high temp. was 22. Lovely canyon winds to go along with it. Skiing/boarding is good if you can afford it. Anybody that lives where it's warm, wanna trade for a week or so? I could go riding, you could go skiing!!!

Yeah, i wear that under armour all the time. I got a pair of vanson leather pantes and an icon leather jacket. I've kept pretty warm. Got over 9,500 miles on my 1000 this year. They were a great investment for me. Besides, you can wear that shit for playing football in the snow. :D
