I had a feeling that the gixx wasnt gonna take all the hp hype lying down. Lets see how it handles. I read that its lighter with that kind of hp is gonna be seriously twitchy, maybee well see :!: 8)

I used to be a suzuk fan long time ago. The reason I bought the 54 is that it dont starve for oil on the back tire. I was told that the zuk does but im begining to think that is all crap. Beleive it or not Im thinking of a zuk on my next purchase. but the new rr is hard to get away from.

2007 should be interesting. May go upswept then? I like how new model Suzuki 1000's come out on a odd year compared to Yamaha, Cowasaki, and Honda, btw, ask Jimmy, that can isnt as big as the photo's make it look. weeee

The only fair way to gauge hp, is to have all 4 bikes together, and dyno one right after another. weeee

Pipe would need to go. Wonder why they aren't going with the undertail system. Those numbers are SICK.

Yamaha is still claiming 180 something HP stock too.... but is that true?

well a friend in front of my own 2 eyes brought his R1 with graves velocity stacks, pc3r with custom map, and full graves exhaust onto the dyno to put out a whopping 145.xx RWHP

not as big as it looks, but it is as ugly as it looks. from the back you can see how narrow it is.

Man,

I would love to get a Gixxer again but I just can't get over how ugly it is. I'm sorry. I'd rather get the Honda or the R1.

I think it will look alot better with a carbon Akrapovic..
I think the bike looks nice and sharp but I dont like what they did with the blinkers..
I might get one for 2005 when I move to the big TX..

That's great man.

I've been dying to get the hell out of here but I can't find any job that's willing to pay me more more than $50K. I can' live off of that. :D

Most places want me to take a 25% pay cut. If I had money put away I would consider it, but I can't afford to take a pay cut at my age now and still retire in 10 years. lol

the cost of living down there is alot cheaper down there..
around here old school houses built in 1920-1930 in great shape $600.000-$750.000
down there where im looking, brand new house 2400 sqft $155.000
after selling my house and getting a new one down there im gonna be chillin..
better livng, better area, better schools and no NYC rat race stress :D

Damn.

I might be right behind you. When I went to North Carolina I visited this community in Charlotte about 15 minutes driving distance out of their city. 2200 sq ft. for 143,000. The mortgage came to about $900 a month with $500 down. I'm still thinking about grabbing that house. It was a new construction.

You just get sooooo much more for your money. Not to mention, you'll be closer to some tracks. Much better than the Pocono rat hole.

Wheelie, I am impressed with the numbers with the Gixer 1000. But damn, that can on the back is ugly as fuck. I'm just not digging it at all. Also, the bike just looks a little fucking ugly. Go Honda
