This is a helluva first post here, but I wanted to put the word out about my 04 black 1000rr that was stolen tonight, along with my roommate's 03 black 600rr. They were stolen in Ormond Beach, just north of Daytona, between 1:00 and 2:00 am late sunday night / early monday morning. For a pic and more info, click here:

If you see them, call the cops immediately.

sometimes some people get lucky and hear about "something" right away.

sometime back my storage unit got robbed and the cops said they had only a thought.
well I got Some of my shit back after about a month or so.
still have the evidence tags on my snowboard as a souvenier...
never got my bike back, or my tools and such...

Talk about shitty luck. I hope you catch those fucking bastards who stole your bike. Talk about a first post. That just sucks.

No word yet, but I'm not holding my breath. The cop who took the report said it was unlikely that either bike would ever be recovered. I have full coverage and gap insurance so this should be a wash, nothing out of pocket for me. I just have to wait 30 days before the insurance will pay anything.
Hey otown954 I appreciate you lookin out fot it.
Thanks to everyone else, hopefully I'll be back riding soon, definitely before bike week starts.
Don't forget to lock your bikes.

Sorry to hear :x

Yeah, unless they just pick up the bike and throw it in a truck. Stealing these bikes is just too easy.

Don't get me wrong though, I would still be riding the 954 if I had'nt........... well you know

I would keep the 954 through next season if I was you and wait for 06'. That should be the year for a new bike from Honda. Then you can tell me all about it cause I'll still have my 04' :D

Thats kinda what im thinking. There seems to be a little war going on with who can make the most nimble, the most lightest and the most baddest bike in the land. I figure in the next couple of years were gonna see some real competition in this erea. I know Honda is tired of the zook taking all the glory so well see.
Ill have to say that im not ruling out another make. Just depends on who has the best machine. Not nessasarely the most ponies

This may not be out of the question. In the article that names some of the accused one person named was Mike Kontos. Well guess what, he's from Daytona. I know him. It had been rumored that he was involved in theft before, and now it seems quite possible that he knows what happened to our bikes. Anyone know where a list of the confiscated inventory would be available? I'd like to see if any of my parts or my roommates parts are included.

well damn! that there is a righteous "touche' " wood600rr.

I was willing to think it was possible and now I'm able.
wow.
though I have no clue as to where you would find that info except for tracing the stories to the departments involved and calling one phone number in leads to the next until you get some form of a possitive answer...

thanks for sharing the input.

and sorry ,bigdogruben, for being a skeptic and a prick. I had no idea.

I never met up with hime tho...

DAMN that sucks man, sorry bout your bike...
