I just wanted to make sure this is normal and not something that needs attention. It sounds like its from the chain or the drive and I can hear it whenever I am on the gas whether it is cruising constant or accelerating. The bike has 1400 miles on it and everything acts normally so I have no reason to suspect a malfunction except my brain telling me when I hear something its bad. I have a hard time trusting any dealers with questions about anything so thanks for any advice you can give!!

Did you oil your chain??? Is your chain adjusted correctly??? Is your rear wheel aligned correctly???

if you still have the stock exhaust its not a problem before I got a pipe I could
hear all kinds of noises and I thought something was wrong but it wasn't.

1wheelmax: thanks! yeah the bike is totally stock so that would seem to be the "usual" I guess. I am taking the bike in for the steering bearing recall next week so I will have them check it over to be sure though. Thanks again for you input!!!
