I have a friend with Yohimura sleep on mounted on 954, but i've expected the sound to be more powerfull. It's sound good but not spectacular. The look it's ok.
I think if you don't search a noisy pipe and if the Price it's ok you should buy it. Anyway Yoshimura is specialized more in Suzuki bikes then any other.
For sound buy Micron. Rocks !!!

My buddy has his 954 with a trs yosh pipe. I does sound pretty good. i have to admit. But, another buddy of mine who had a 954 with a D&D pipe, talk about a kick ass pipe. It sound ed loud and awesome, in my opinion. Unfortunately, he traded it in on a 04 R1, fucking traitor.

D&D sucks. if you want a pipe that sounds like a D&D, just gut you're stock pipe.

yoshi's sound good. and aren't loud at idle, but really screams when the revs come on.

D&D are WAY too loud. Cop magnet.

I have the TRS and love it. I got the half system. I didn't want to ditch the HTEV. I agree with everyone else in saying the D&D is just way too loud and obnoxious. I was gonna go with the Devil, but am much happier I went with Yosh. I don't think it matters who specializes in what pipes. In my opinion the erion pipes suck. But Micron is a bitchin exhaust too. 1wheelmax had the full yosh on his 954 that I rode.
with a custom map it was by far a more aggressive than the akrapovic evo full system with a custom map I had on my 954's and the yosh sounded more raw and appealing too.

I like the Micron on the 954 also. Nice deep throaty soundin. Doesn't get too loud till the higher RPM's and then she'll cut loose. But it's all a matter of opinion. I really like the Arata too. It's a sweet pipe! What I like and what my friends like are quite different. I've never heard a Yosh. on a 54.

My friend has a Yosh on his 929 and it sounds great on the track. In town it is very reserved. He likes this because it draws less attention when travelling through those one horse towns where the cops are just looking for a reason to give chase.

At 49 years old, he has learned all of the tricks

out of all the pipes I've seen, I think the yosh looks the best. I loved the way it sounded, I can still hear it sometimes. haha

Titanium Arata.... I've got the full system with PCIII usb. It rocks. Sounds great, not seriously loud, but loud enough.... Great investment on my part.

In my country is exactly the other way. We must draw walkers and drivers attention because they don't have a good education regarding the bikers. Many friends af mine has died last year because of drivers. Way too many.
Anyway we don't have any problems with the police here. If they stop us we simply tell this is thea way the bike was constructed. It's not my fault. :P
