You guys ever come across bad riders trying to race you?

I ran across some dude this weekend that seemed as if every minute was going to be his last.

I was just crusing along about 60 on some country road and this guy goes flying by on a RSV1000. So naturally i spin up the old 954 and catch up to him in a few hundred feet, just as we start going through a series of sharp turns. He couldn't hold a line for shit, his bike was all over the place. So what do you do???? risk trying to pass him on blind corners and having him take you and him both out, or back off and laugh at the moron.

I just put a headlight right in his mirror and then backed off. Didn't think at the time it was worth it.

Also, you gotta love them guys out there with the 900+lbs Harleys trying to keep up with sport bikes

My brother had that to happen to him only to have the guy drift over the yellow line and go right under the car. He said that he saw the guy get twisted in three different directions under the car. He didnt stop he just kept goin, he knew the guy had bit it, no one couldve survived that.
Id either pass the dumbass or back off I dont fancy seeing someone gettin killed even if they are a dumbass. :!:

The problem with passing is the goofy mo fo will think you are racing him and he will try to keep up, even if it means taking both of you out while doing so.

I'd rather be a witness than a victim!!

if a squidly shithead did that to me, he wouldn't have a chance to keep up. he'd end up running at his own pace before long, because he wouldn't see me anymore. i had a dude challenge me last summer. he said he rides the same roads as me and said "we need to race!!!!". so i handed him my business card and said "call me anytime". in the meantime, he asked around (i heard from other folks) and i never heard from him.

sidenote: he has a silver/black 954 as well. and his bro wrecked it trying to keep up with one of my buds on a ZX7RR :D :D :D :D
