Ive used many tires and liked most of them. Most recent is the diablo's which the UK rankes as the number one tire choice of there comparo test. After riding on dunlop, michelin, Bridgestone and now the perelli I can say that the perelli is the best ive been on so far. There claim that it is a great wet tire is at best a weak statement cause just running the speed limit I had movement in the curves and everytime id hit patches of wet while it was dry I could almost always count on it to step out. However in the dry I couldnt find a tire that stuck better. Now dont flame on me cause I havent tried the pilot powers nor the BT14's so I cant give an honest comparisson. However I can tell you that the shape and contour and rubber compound between the pilot and 14's is the same. If your going that rought then save your money and buy a Battleaxe. This informaiton come from a good friend that runs a cycle shop and has a lot of knowlege about tires. This brings up my next point, he has been telling me for two years to go to track tires. I finnaly tried the Battleaxe 002 race and let me tell you. I was almost on the edge of the front tire and they never stepped out all day. Simply put THEY ARE THE STICKINGEST TIRE IVE RODE ON. While they are warming up they move all over the place but once they get warm they stick so good that they are inspiring to go faster, and you do. For all you posers out there this is not the tire for you, you dont need them the street tires will serve you well. For the trully fast you owe it to yourself to try a set if you havent already and dont bitch cause they dont last long, just remember that your safety at real speed is more secure with the right rubber under your bike.
This was my experience last weekend while me and my brother on his fresh set of supercorsas was walking off all day and leaving posers.
We literally was waiting up to five minutes at pull offs for riders to get too us. Wear what shoes you want just remember that they dont all stick the same.

You would really like the 014s. They stick very well, and I generally hate stones

My problem is I keep pushing the front. I pushed the front the last two times I rode on the diablo corsas and thats just too much for me. I tend to push the front everytime i start riding hard. All im saying is that on these tires I was going faster and was never feeling them letting go. They have way more grip and thats what all my track junkie friends kept telling me that I ride with. The other benefit is they fall in faster too cause of the shape of the tire. Way better for the twisties.
anywho thats my two cents you guys can post what you think
