When is the United States going to get with the fucking program? We should treat these people the way they treat us. Fuck political posturing and acting civilized. My opinion is... we should go after their families and behead everyone we can dig up, and show the videos worldwide. This is the only language the terrorists know. What ever happend to covert ops? I thought the US had some of the best snipers in the country? Seems to me that a lot of US enemies could be "handled" this way with a lot less cost and a lot mess. Anyone else have an opinion on this method?

My opinion... You have the manpower, the highly trained personnel, the ability to take out any person at nearly any time, the only thing missing is the willingness to do so. If the Government of the United States wins the war on Terrorism, then they will no longer have a handle on the American people. Our government depends on the fear of our people to effectively take away our rights. Methodically, every day they remove us from our own Government by taking away our rights. Let's look back to when there was a scare about "trick or treating" and the "Razor blade in the apple". Do you remember it? Do you remember ever having a curfew before that? They took away our freedom to be on the street after a certain time because they said it was protecting us from whatever it was that threatened us. We agreed and went along with it. One freedom taken without a fight. The war on terrorism has already given rise to the Patriot act. Taking even more rights from us in the name of our safety. Pretty soon they'll be taking our right to bear arms claiming that "it's for our own good"! take Terrorism out of the picture... no real fear for us, and we will fight to keep our freedom, keep terrorism... take our rights and have total control. It makes perfect sense. How many other freedoms are we going to allow to be taken from us? :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

I agree w/ junkee too....most of this "war" is politics in action. Patriot act was passed how long ago??....and its just now being bashed in the mainstream. Lots of ppl were pissed when it passed but a lot more followed like lemmings....now more and more see it as what it is...an invasion on every right the American people fought to have.
